Abstract

The guiding concept in the Development of Capacities and Rural Outreach is to articulate, make equivalent and link programs and actions of public, social and private entities that intervene in the rural sector in matters of training, outreach and technological transference. Based on training carried out in the DDR 002, provided by Professional Service Providers (PSP), the attendance of producers to training courses in the following, was analyzed: weed control, use of Green-Seeker sensor for the correct use of nitrogen, and irrigation water appraisal; these were programmed in ten groups of wheat producers made up of 22 producers each, with the aim of establishing a relationship between what the producer needs
and the reflection in attendance to training sessions. The response in attendance was: weed control 45.9 %, Green-Seeker optical sensor 30.91 %, and irrigation water appraisal 39.54 %. Therefore, it is recommended to seek strategies to develop responsibility in the producer and improve results in terms of knowledge of new technologies that can induce innovation to decrease production costs and improve profitability.
