Abstract
Objective: The study consisted of evaluating new hormonal and bioestimulant products to induce flowering of the Mexican lime (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) for Winter production in the Guerrero state
Design / methodology / approach: The products prohexadione calcium (PHD-Ca) cytokines, paclobutrazol, biuretic urea, 46% granulated urea and the control (without application) were evaluated.
Results: The results indicate statistical differences between treatmens for the number of flowers and number of fruits in marble (Pr>0.0411 and 0.048); the paclobutrazol, calcium prohexadione and 46% granulated urea stood out for the variable number of flowers; while, the number of fruits in marble were favorated by the prohexadione of calcium, paclobutrazol and cytokinins. Statistical differences (Pr>0.0327) were shown between the yields and cytokinins and paclobutrazol stood out.
Conclusions: The use of cytokinins in the induction of flowering and production is suggested of Mexican lime in Winter.
