Abstract
The experiment was established in the open in Xochiapulco, Puebla, Mexico, in fig plants (Ficus carica L.) Cv. Brown Turkey, after four years of being established; two applications were carried out (May-June, 2017) of cytokinins (Agromil- Plus®) and gibberellic acid (Gibiotín®) at 0.5 mL L-1 and 20 mg kg-1, respectively, in combination of Ca(NO3)2 at 2% and P-K (30-30) at 1%, in a completely random experimental design and five repetitions. The application of gibberellic acid with Ca(NO3)2 increased the length of branches (31.5%) and number of fruits (15%); both bioregulators combined with Ca(NO3)2 increased the size of the fruit in 7 %, with a weight increase of 13.5%; and it was observed that gibberellic acid promotes the development of two fruits per node. The bioregulators and macronutrients applied on the leaf potentiate the yield of the fig crop in the open field.
