Bibliometric analysis of wastewater treatment with microalgae in the period from 1985 to 2023

Abstract

There is a significant increase in documents published since 2013, and up to 68 articles in 2022. The authors with the highest number of contributions on the topic are Ivet Ferrer and Joan García. The countries most involved in this issue are China, Spain, India and Brazil; China being the one with the highest number of publications. The TARcM studies in 2023 will investigate biomass accumulation and nutrient removal as a way to make sustainable use of the process.
